Clobetasol Propionate+itraconazole+ofloxacin+ornidazole is a class of dermatologic drugs that are administered to cure skin infections caused by bacteria and fungi. Fungal infection is a type of disease that affects the skin, where a fungus invades the tissue and leads to infection. Bacterial infection is a disease where harmful bacteria are formed in the body and lead to infection. Clobetasol Propionate+itraconazole+ofloxacin+ornidazole decreases swelling, itching, and redness due to some skin infections.
Clobetasol Propionate+itraconazole+ofloxacin+ornidazole consists of Clobetasol propionate, Itraconazole, Ofloxacin, and Ornidazole. Clobetasol propionate prevents the release of some chemical messengers in the body, which cause redness, itching, and swelling. Itraconazole disrupts the fungal cell membrane, and the major constituents of fungal cells leak out. Hence, kills fungi and removes the fungal infection. Ofloxacin inhibits the bacterial enzyme that is responsible for repairing and duplicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Hence, kills bacteria and eradicates the infection. Ornidazole inhibits the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria and protozoa and their reproduction by damaging them and preventing the synthesis of new DNA.
Advantages:
- Itraconazole is an antifungal that destroys and disrupts the fungal cell membranes, leading to the leakage of the chief constituents of fungal cells. Therefore, kills fungi and eliminates the fungal infection.
- Clobetasol propionate is a corticosteroid that prevents the release of some chemical messengers in the body that produce redness, itching, and swelling.
- Ofloxacin is an antibiotic that acts against the bacterial enzyme used to mend and copy the DNA (bacterial genetic material).
Uses:
- This cream suppresses the growth of bacteria and inhibits the spread of infection.
- This cream eliminates the growth of fungi and thereby treats conditions such as ringworm, athlete’s foot, and jock itch.
- This cream alleviates redness, swelling, and itching in eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis.
- It reduces symptoms like rashes and irritation caused by allergens.
Directions to Use:
- It is recommended to use this cream twice a day or as directed by your physician.
- On the finger, take the amount of this cream prescribed and apply as a thin layer on the dry and clean affected area and surrounding skin.
- Avoid contact of this cream with the eyes, nose, or mouth.
- If it accidentally comes in contact with these areas, clean it thoroughly with water.
Storage:
Store this cream in a dry and cool location and out of the reach of children and pets.
Dosage Administration:
The use of cream is to be used regularly according to the instructions of the doctor. If the application of the cream is stopped earlier, it may result in the recurrence of the symptoms for which this cream was being administered.

Precautions:
